Summer is flying by! I have been trying to squeeze in some drawing and hand-lettering time, while still finding time to do all the (warm-weather) things! I hope you are enjoying your summer!

I used my hand-lettering and illustration skills for a fresh take on this sympathy card.
I spent over 17 years as a "baseball mom," so when this prompt came up in the latest Minted challenge, I jumped on the opportunity to create some vintage baseball imagery and lettering.
I've also been busy creating new client work. I recently completed a branding project for Swiech Consulting LLC. Jim Swiech has many years of experience as a CPA, and nowadays him and his wife, Donna, work together growing their financial advisory firm in Lockport, NY. We went through my brainstorming process where I start with moodboards. Once a design direction was established, I worked on creating a logo that represented the financial protection and security that Swiech Consulting provides their clients. From there, I built out the brand to include various collateral materials, complete with a style guide to ensure that all elements are used consistently. A style guide is also key if you have team members or vendors developing and producing your marketing materials.
