Spring is almost here, and Q1 is already wrapping up. I've been busy working on new patterns, graphic design projects and, websites!
The latest site to launch is for Empire State Lifestyle Solutions, (ESLS) a concierge and home management service here in Western New York.
When I start a website project, I don’t jump straight into design. I begin with messaging. I always use Donald Miller's StoryBrand framework to clarify who the customer is, what problem they’re facing, and how this business helps solve it.

In this case, ESLS offers something many busy homeowners need but don’t always realize exists: a trusted partner to help manage the details of everyday life. From home organization and errands to snowbird home watch and even vacation butler services, ESLS ultimately gives people their most valuable resource back — time.
The goal was a elegant and polished website that communicates trust, professionalism, and that your home is in good hands.
I also worked with local Buffalo author David Kelly to design a site to showcase his latest book and connect with readers online.
The end result is a site that’s bold, modern, and easy to maintain—so Dave can update events, share new projects, and easily engage his audience. I created this in Squarespace because it allowed me a lot of flexibility in it's design, but it is also functional for anyone who want to confidently manage their site on their own. I always leave video instructions for my clients on how to do this in case they forget!
I'm truly grateful to work with small businesses to showcase their services. Thanks for reading along and as always, please let me know if you have any questions.
Take Care,
PS: If you know of anyone who needs a website redesign, or just some clean-up or maintenance, I'd love an introduction.
